Superhero Writer’s Club with the Superhero Child Advocates

The Superhero Writers Club will bring children and family members in the community together with fun, team building superhero-themed activities. The creative activities, facilitated by the Superhero Child Advocates, will promote positive interactions with family, healthy self esteem and strong social skills. Every child is a superhero! There is a green awning over the door and directly next to the Fire station.

Please note: Free parking is available at Glenfield Middle School on the south side of Bloomfield Ave. You are welcome to park on the street, in the circle if spaces are vacant. Walk north, across Bloomfield Ave to The Community Services Center.
In addition, there is the Bay Street Deck at 21 Pine Street (directly in back of The Community Services Center), which is $7. Also, if you would like to park directly in front of the building, you would need to pay via the mobile app to avoid getting a ticket. Safe travels!

Our group focuses on assisting victims and survivors of domestic violence in the emotional healing process through creative activities. Our workshops include fellowship, discussions and therapeutic arts such as creative writing, yoga and meditation, aroma therapy, painting, etc.
